Europe Code of Conduct (CofC) on Energy Efficiency of External Power Supplies Version 5

In 2013 the European Union's E3P team of the Joint Research Center published the Code of Conduct on Energy Efficiency of External Power Supplies Version 5. The code of conduct established more stringent requirements than any current regulatory requirements but never became a law. Many external power supplies designed to meet US DOE Level VI and ErP Eco Design requirements were also designed to meet the CofC Version 5. The Code of Conduct is not a law in any country or region and just a voluntary benchmark.
